Nosara's backpacker roots are still alive, offering great value for the money and a cool social atmosphere. These properties are perfect for solo travelers, young groups, or those who prioritize location and saving money over private space.

Hostel Nosara offers both private and shared rooms. It provides convenience and high value due to its direct proximity to the main surf breaks on Playa Guiones... like 3 minutes! And, it's right next to Agua Tibia for all of your surf and rental needs.

Visitors have shared kitchen access, including a fridge, and excellent slow drip morning coffee!, WIFI, and AC in the private and double room set ups.

Also, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the staff (Johan and Mama D). They are truly lovely people... helpful with surf tips, restaurant suggestions, and pura vida vibes.

2. Boutique Hotels & Wellness Resorts ($$-$$$)

This is the largest and most varied category in Nosara, defined by hotels that blend tropical architecture with high end amenities, yoga shalas, spas, daily classes, and a commitment to sustainability and holistic wellness.

Some of our favorite partners in the area include the Harmony Hotel and The Sunset Shack which are a minute walk from our surf school partners, Living Stoked!

Harmony Hotel is a renowned eco-friendly resort with a signature spa, saltwater pool, organic farm-to-table dining, and dedicated yoga pavilions.

You receive complimentary daily yoga classes at The Harmony Healing Center for each guest, as well as complimentary access to the dry sauna and cold plunge pool, and their surfboards! Harmony is a 5 minute walk to the main beach break on Playa Guiones and close to local shops. The property grounds are beautifully nestled into the jungle flora.

The Sunset Shack is a stylish boutique hotel known for its relaxed ambiance, amazing complimentary breakfast at Al Chile (their on-site Mexican cuisine style restaurant and bar), and shared access to the nearby Harmony Healing Center. Accommodations include chic rooms offering a relaxed atmosphere while still providing access to a saltwater pool, luxury services and healing centers. As with any of our partners, the staff are kind and helpful. the property manager, Alejandro, is a wonderful human being.

3. Private Homes & Luxury Villas ($$-$$$$)

For larger families, groups of friends, or retreats, Nosara’s rental market is world-class. These properties offer the ultimate blend of space, comfort, and privacy, often featuring stunning jungle or ocean views.

Each of our offerings are high-end and spacious with private pools, full gourmet kitchens, indoor/outdoor living spaces, and most with accommodations for up to 20+ guests. A concierge service is available on request. Often times, our groups request a private chef for some of their meals. We have access to some of the best local chefs in the area!

Brisa Verde, Casa Descanso del Pescador, Paradise Villas, and Casa de Alces are all featured examples of our properties. They are ideal for seamless group living and often include amenities like dedicated yoga shalas.
